Kanha Kisli Resort is located near the Khatia Gate of Kanha National Park. It has a significant emphasis on conservation, sustainability, and the local community. It is nestled amid 10 acres of the wooded area adjacent to Kanha National Park's buffer forest.

Our knowledgeable naturalists and guides will provide a picnic brunch for morning safaris and high tea after evening session drives in search of nocturnal wildlife. Facts About Kanha National Park

• The rare Barasingha deer was preserved from extinction by Kanha National Park. Due to widespread poaching, the deer have vanished from Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and adjacent countries such as Pakistan and Bangladesh. Because of the circumstances, the government worked hard to construct an ecology in the forest while also educating local people and tribes about the dangers of poaching, and this rare species of deer found a home. Bhoorsingh, a mascot from the Barasingha community, also serves as the park's mascot.
• The forest of the Kanha National Park is naturally divided into highland and lowland areas. Because of the differences in flora, the park attracts a broader assortment of mammals and bird species.
• The two rivers that go through the park are the Banjar and Halon. They provide an excellent water supply for the animals while also beautifying the area.
• Kanha National Park also protects the endangered Dhole Indian wild dog. They are a violent species that live in groups.
• Kanha is home to around 300 different bird species.
• Kanha National Park has four entrance gates, each of which explores a different jungle zone.

Best Time To Visit The Kanha Resort Near Khatia Gate

The optimum time to visit Kanha Tiger Reserve is from the beginning of October until June. The Kanha Resort experiences extremely high temperatures. The highest temperature throughout the summer season (April to June) is about 43 degrees. It is the optimum season for tiger sightings since animals gather to cool themselves in the water bodies owing to the temperature.

Winters may be pretty cold (November to February). Frost frequently blankets the meadows in the winter. Monsoon rains have already regenerated Kanha's surroundings by that time. It has a revitalizing effect. It is also the most incredible season to watch migrating birds.

The park is prohibited to tourists during the southwest monsoon, which lasts from July to September since the roads are impassable.
